Evaluation & Promotion Information

At the Evaluation & Promotion workshops in September 2013, lecturers picked up the following documents with key information for each unit (part-time and full-time).  Please download the information that you need.

Annual Activity Report

One new aspect of the Evaluation and Promotion language in the 2013-2016 Full-Time Lecturer Collective Bargaining Agreement is that lecturers shall submit an Annual Activity Report to their Department Head every year by October 15th.  This report is a brief document that contains a summary list of classes taught and professional development engaged in during the previous year.  It can also include courses the lecturer would like to teach/develop or other responsibilities he/she would like to take on in the upcoming year.

You can download an Example of an Annual Activity Report.

Affordable Care Act Information

Lecturers who are uninsured will be eligible to purchase health insurance on the Health Insurance Marketplaces beginning on October 1, 2013 -- with plans taking effect as early as January 1, 2014.  You may be able to get financial help to buy insurance.
